Soaking Up the Season – Can’t Miss Stops

Fall is finally here, and I couldn’t be happier! As an interior designer, I find endless inspiration in the textures, tones, and cozy moments that come with this season — and honestly, Wisconsin might be one of the most beautiful places to be right now.

If you’re looking to embrace all the fall vibes, here are a few can’t-miss local spots to check out:

🍏 Sky High Apple Orchard – Fresh apples, delicious bakery treats, and an incredible view. What more could you want?
🍁 Governor Dodge State Park – The fall colors are absolutely stunning — a perfect backdrop for a weekend hike.
🌳 The Arboretum in Madison – So many beautiful trails, and the foliage is photo-worthy in every direction.
🎃 Enchanted Valley Acres – With giant slides, a pumpkin patch, and tons of family fun, it’s a fall favorite for kids and adults alike.

And if you’re spending a cozy evening at home, here’s a hot apple cider recipe I recently found and can’t wait to try — plus, it’ll make your whole house smell amazing:

Crockpot Apple Cider Recipe

  • 4 lbs. apples, chopped
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1 orange, chopped
  • 2 qt. water

Place all items in crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours.  Mash all contents with potato masher then squeeze as much juice from apples and oranges.  Scoop out chunks and pour cider through a fine mesh strainer.  Serve warm and enjoy!

Whether you’re dreaming of a fall refresh or planning a cozy winter makeover, now is the perfect time to bring seasonal inspiration into your space.  Click below to schedule your free introductory call – I’d love to help you create something beautiful.
